I purchased my initial jet ski way back in 04 when my family and I began vacationing around the lake. I got to thinking about the trailer that carried the ski and remember saying that they are standard and might be a ton superior with a couple of alterations made to them. It was when I got home that I made a decision to make my own customised jet ski trailer. It could include stuff that I required and not what a jet ski manufacturer wanted me to have. So what did I feature in my custom trailer?

Solid Checker Plate Bottom

I developed a checker plate floor for the trailer to begin with. Being rust proof was certainly a key point but it allowed me to hold objects under the jet ski which would usually be in the actual vehicle such as life jackets, ski ropes etc.

Side Steps

I wasn’t keen on standing on the framework to get to the boat and so I created some powerful side steps to make entry to the jet ski much easier.

Personal choice of Colour

I didn’t want a bland looking jet ski trailer so I manufactured 2 of them and painted one white and the other black to fit with the colour of one of my jet skis. This monster looked great.

Jerry Can Holder

This made perfect sense to me to include a fuel can holder. Having the jerry can in close proximity made refuelling a cinch.

Jockey Wheel and Winch

I sourced the best in the marketplace to make sure I wasn’t changing these essential components too frequently. They had to be strong and last and that’s what we use on all our jet ski trailers.
